I purchased these gloves a while ago and really liked them. Here are some of their strong and weak points:Strong:
(1) Easy to put on because of the absence of a velcro strap or lace, and comfortably secure once on (2) The free thumb section allows for a clenched fist and partial grabbing, handy for taking off the other glove or even holding a jump rope/lifting something/etc (3) The gloves are fairly light and ideal for shadow boxing. They also stretch over time and allow open hand movements. (4) The price is awesome judging by the fact that the leather construction and quality of the glove is not bad at all.
Weak:
(1) The thinner 1-inch padding requires the boxer to emphasize good form and controlled force. A beginner should seek more padding for their glove in case of mistakes (2) The gloves are suited for bag use only- anyone seeking a sparring glove should get something else.
