I do 10-20 mins of jump rope a day.Each set of these bearings lasts me about 3 months before they have to be replaced.
You know they have gone because you can feel it when you are jumping rope - there is no longer the smooth and tight rotation and the rope feels loose coming out of the handle.
$12 is not a bad maintenance fee for over 1,000 mins of jump rope with the Buddy Lee jump rope (by far the best I have used) I suppose but I would like them to last longer. This is a better proposition by far than buying a cheap rope every couple of months however.
