Have fiddled around with bags on and off for quite a few years. Never had one of my own. Two sons paddle around with their 80#'rs and I've knocked those around a bit.Needed one of my own. Winter takes me off the bicycle and I needed something to do in the garage. SO I got one of these for myself, for Christmas.
Got GLOVES and LINERS too. DON'T smack one of these around without them... If you don't want liners for the gloves use WRAPS.
Also got that 45# weight and bungee for this to hold it down better. Just for fun I tried it without for a couple days. Really much nicer with the extra weight on the bottom.
Did kind of turn into a real IQ test getting it hung up right on a beam in the garage by myself. Did manage to carry it out without having to call for the paramedics to rescue me.
Thought I needed one of those killer 125# monster bags. THIS ONE does the trick. Like the finish, material, and the way it works. Perfect for me. Very glad now that I didn't spend more than twice as much for something I really didn't need.
Oh, and this one is RED. Don't know why the color makes a difference but it does.
Very happy with the gloves and liners that I ordered off of Amazon, too!
Liners are Everlast Evergel. Gloves are Everlast ProTex2 16 oz.
Am pounding on this thing at least once a day with great delight. I'm somewhere around 6'2", 250# and this thing takes everything I've got and wants more.
