I love the Buddy Lee Aero Speed Jump Rope, and I am even comfortable paying the price--which is much more than any other jump rope I've ever purchased. When buying a replacement cord, though, five bucks is definitely too much, especially when you add in shipping costs. It's a piece of plastic very similar to the ones that come on those two-dollar jump ropes you can get at the dollar store, but it has a hollow center--which is what allows the Buddy Lee Jump Rope to be screwed on. If it wasn't for the hollow center, I would just buy the two-dollar rope and use it to screw onto my Buddy Lee handles.Buddy Lee Replacement Cord Overview
