I bought this speed bag platform for $80, and had to return it within a week. The design of the platform did not seem well planned out. After I installed the platform and filled it with water, the bounce on the speed bag was horrible. The plastic platform created a mediocre bounce. I have been hitting speed bags for over 15 years, and this is about the 4th platform I have owned. I went back and got the cheaper 6-pc set for $50, and the speed bag performance was way better.
