NEW RED XL PAIR OF PUNCHING BOXING GLOVES KICK BOXING Review
These Training Gloves are very basic and are only good for basic bag work. We ordered two sets of these gloves (black and red) for use in martial arts training, specifically TaeKwonDo hand techniques on a heavy bag. Here are my observations:Pros -
+ Sized Accurately; these XL sized gloves fit as expected, with only the elastic finger loops being a little tight
+ Well Padded; the two padding rolls on the tops of the gloves do provide good protection
Cons -
- Questionable Quality; the "fit and finish" is not that good... rough edges, long threads, etc
- No Wrist Support; the Velcro wrist straps do not provide any real support (see pictures in "Customer Images"), I use Trainer's Choice Athletic Tape, 15 Yards, 1 Roll to wrap my wrists
I really don't expect much from gloves this inexpensive and I doubt that these will hold up too long, but will update my review if that is confirmed.
